Police started barricading the Capitol and the Supreme Court building just hours after Sens. Susan Collins (R-Maine) and Joe Manchin (D-W. Va.) announced their support for Brett Kavanaugh, all but locking in the controversial nominee.

That was supposed to happen in 1991 when Clarence Thomas was confirmed. After Al Sharpton was busted for demonstrating in front of Justice Thomas’ house, it all kind of petered out. Don’t forget protesting was big that year during Desert Storm.
The quality of local LEOs will determine his freedom of movement. But he will need Secret Service protection, that’s certain.

Trump will have Gorsuch, Kavanaugh a the conservative female jurist I wanted him to pick instead of Kavanaugh. Historic it will be.
