Also, think about it, Murkowski was a ‘no’ because she knew it wouldn’t matter.

You would think if her vote really would have mattered, at the very least she would have voted for cloture to at least keep the debate going.

My GUESS is that Collins is preparing a statement on WHY she will vote yes. I think the harassment she has received, the vitriol & hatred has driven her into the yes camp. She’s from a liberal state & I see no point in trashing her for representing her constituents instead of those of us in Arizona.

My political guesses are right about as often as Dick Morris’s. More often than Karl Rove, perhaps, but not by much - so my odds of being wrong are high! I still cling to a tiny shred of idealism that makes me want to believe that politicians SOMETIMES try to do right by their constituents. Sure hope Flake does.

BTW - heard on the radio that Martha McSally, running for Flake’s seat, has said she would vote for Kavanaugh if she was the senator from Arizona.
