I had the impression he wants to be chair of the Judiciary committee. Maybe he’s now looking to replace McConnell? I can see him leading Judiciary.
Like him or not, Graham knows which way the wind is blowing. I think that his antics of the past couple weeks portend a good sign for Republicans in November - if things were trending badly, he'd be more conciliatory.
Lots of work to do on the Judiciary Committee over the next 2-6 years.
