Reid is in Utah? Go to a geography class. Being confused is no way to go through life.

Murkowski will lose all her power in the Senate if she votes no. McConnell will remove any positions of power.

Perhaps it’s worth it to her.

We will have 59 or more r Senators in January. We will be the party in power. If it’s a purely political decision Murkowski would vote yes. But she is depraved and twisted and she may vote according to that.

“If the GOP votes no,
let them reap the whirlwind
that will follow.”

What will you do? Stay home? Vote for Democrats?

Murkowski and Collins aren’t going anywhere. They have to deal with the fallout of a No vote. Money, committees, everything. Flake is gone, he wants to be loved by the left. The only profit for him is to vote No.

The cloture vote is done. Murkowski went full epic fail, as expected.

I’ll blame Mitch for not delivering the votes.

I will vote regardless.

Rush said it best last week.

We’ll see. I think he will vote yes.

I’ve sent letters to multiple senators. I will pray. Not much more I can do on this end.

I hope you’re right. I just don’t have any confidence in the establishment RINOs getting anything done until I see it.

Actually, it was your bald assertion "...No reason to believe it isn't true..." that I took issue with.

It is undeniable that there are plenty of reasons to believe it isn't true, and I listed a few.

Granted, we do view people who sign up here to promote and sow disinformation and discouraging news with a jaundiced eye, but on the surface I did not take that approach with your post. I spoke rationally and gave several reasons to disbelieve this report, so I am somewhat surprised by the tone of your response.

Where did I say that I know how anyone is going to vote? I don't know how they are going to vote. But if you are discounting the negative effect this Leftist lynching of an innocent man for political ends has had on the electorate in general, you aren't paying attention. That effect is significant with the election a month away.

Flake, Collins, and Manchin have all indicated they will vote yes. Murkowski has said she will vote to reject. There are other Democrat Senators in Red states that are up for election. Do you think they are going to ignore their electorate with the election a month away to vote NO for an obvious false charge?

I stand by my prediction that bringing it to a vote is going to be a win either way.

The Democrat Senators in red states are faced with being impaled on the horns of a dilemma, and although it is likely that some are going to try to avoid the horns by going between them, it won't work because it is a manichean choice, YES or NO.

Watched Collins’s speech today. I am convinced she will vote yes as she said she would.
