The Wall Street Journal has published a lead editorial Wednesday evening in which it argues the Democrats effort to destroy Brett Kavanaugh has reminded anti-Trump conservatives that the left hates them even more than it hates the president. The Journal further argues that the left has unified Republicans a seemingly impossible task, given internal divisions over Trump by reminding them that Democrats hatred is not about Trump, but about the raw desire for power at any cost.

Only for those who supported Brett Kavanaugh without compromise, though!
I was where you are but YES I will also vote in the midterms!!!!
I would hope so. Every vote counts.
Kavenaugh does have some anti Trumper connections.
Another teachable moment, courtesy of Donald Trump's pick.
It might be good if a *select* excerpt is posted from the WSJ, if one of you would like to post it also as an editorial. Post the best part as an excerpt, though, even if it’s not the beginning of the piece.
And don’t forget to post the subheader at the beginning of the body of the piece (”The Kavanaugh fight isnt about Trump. Were all deplorables now.”)!

The WSJ is spot on - Kav has galvanized and united pissed-off Republican voters. This is why there is a rush to confirmation.
The corrupt establishment uniparty knows this, they want the Dems to win... they need the spotlight back on Trump and depress turnout...
Maybe that’s what why Trump is attacking Ford, expect more attacks tomorrow at his rally in MN.
I haven’t heard anyone else say this - but the Left’s psychosis would be just as bad no matter which Republican was President.
They honed their social justice dogma and hate under Bush. They had full-run over the country for 8 years with Obama, and plenty of time to institutionalize their agitation everywhere - business, academia, government, education, local government, etc...
Whichever Republican came next would have faced this regardless.
NPR reports Dem enthusiasm for midterm election has “evaporated.” :::snicker:::
Good!
Yes he served with Bush.
Yes, the GOP RINO’s want to the GOP to be defeated in the midterms so they can keep control of the GOP!
True, but without Trump they would get only tepid pushback.
Trump is not only going to push back, he’s going to destroy them.
Flake isn’t running again; Murkowski has already been “primaried” and managed to get re-elected as a write-in, and her term is not up this year; Collins’s turn isn’t up this year either.
Whether or not we like the R on our local ticket we have to vote for him/her because the only way you actually have the chairmanships/call the agenda is having that majority that sometimes has to include a few we don’t like.
Folks should look up to see who would chair what committees with Democrat control of the House and/or Senate. The HOUSE Judiciary Committee Ranking Democrat is Jerrold Nadler of NY who has already said if Kavanaugh is confirmed, they will move to impeach and also is toying with impeaching Clarence Thomas. They are nothing but EVIL.
I saw this in the comments section and it both spoke to how I feel and cracked me up. It said, “Either you are with Brett Kavanaugh or you are with the terrorists. Kudos to whomever wrote this. Two thumbs up!
Love the opening paragraph. Looks like a very insightful (although many of us already knew where the Dems were coming from), intriguing read.
I agree although I add Trump doesn’t take their BS and throws it right back at ‘em in a way that destablizes their tactics. He doesn’t cower like most R’s would. So they are even more angry as they can’t get a foothold and achieve what they want and Trump keeps calling them out. It is fantastic!!
