Congress is neither a prosecutorial nor a judicial body. Their “investigations” are SUPPOSED to pertain to legislation.
This is a farce. I wish people would stop posting about these “hearings” as if something was going to happen. By design, there’s nothing for Congress to do here.
It’s a job for the chief law enforcement officer of the United States. His name is Donald John Trump.
I actually think this happened in front of a grand jury run by prosecutor Huber. I know the article doesn’t say that, but I believe that’s the case.
