Back when she was running her “write in” campaign after losing the primary, she was reasonably attractive. Now she looks like a typical dried up liberal skank.
The Alaska Federation of Natives put Murkowski back in office with their write-in campaign. Murky was questionable on Kavanaugh before the Ford eruption. Kavanaugh is not a fan of the special treatment Alaska ‘Native Corporations’ demand.
What is so GD hard about this ? McConnell has always had difficulties with Murkowski and Collins, Flake, McCain, et al. Why is it the Dems march in lock-step and never defy their leadership?

I don’t know. The Repubs never seem to have the ability to ‘herd cats’ the same way the Dems do. There is more at stake with the Kav nomination - irreparable harm to the Senate & SCOTUS, nominating any Repub for any position, and the Nation as a whole. If I were Mitch, I would point this out (and I’m sure he has) and tell the Repubs (all of em) - you vote yes or there will be repercussions .... all your committee assignments will be yanked, NO GOPe funds to help you get re-elected, no campaign help of any sort (like Trump making a stop in your state) & you will be persona non grata the rest of your term here. I suspect that is what Schumer & Pelosi do to keep their Democrap troops in line. Brass knuckles all the way, baby.
And Feinkenstein’s threats? Something about Chinese mafia would seek her out...

McConnell needs to take these two traitors to the woodshed. He needs to ask them simple questions like:
“Do you like your committee assignments?”
“How important is RNC spending on your campaigns to you?”
“What would happen to you if federal spending in your states totally disappeared?”
“McConnell to Schmuck Schumer: “I’ll trade you Murkowski for Manchin, a bag of broken bats, and a pop-up toaster”.”
