I’ve got a Tracphone and it went off. I recently switched to a much better android phone where the carrier is Verizon so I expected to get an alert and I did. :-) I found out that it works well for local tornado alerts too when we had an outbreak here back in Sept. as remnants of Florence were going through the area.
