“I hate to see him voted down, but I love the idea of resubmitting him, and let the people vote for him by voting for the Senators up for election in their state.”

No, it may sound good but if he’s voted down he’s toast. We can have it both ways. Vote him in and make red state rats pay for their no votes and don’t let them get away with holding out until they know it’s a done deal then voting yes. That said it will come down to the rino sisters who both want to vote no but they also know only one of them has to because Flake is almost a certain no.
So they may figure out which one is hurt the least by a no vote and kill the nomination. I think this is a highly likely outcome IMHO.

Let’s look at this scenario.

1. Flake votes NO
2. Collins and/or Magurski vote NO
3. No dems vote YES

He fails with 48 or 49 votes.

I would say, why NOT resubmit him because then there’s a huge incentive to vote republican.

If he get more than 3 republican NO votes, then I agree, move on, and you work like heck to vote even those people out during their primaries.
