In one of Kavanaugh's funds (which I donated to) he got $536,366 of $550,000 goal from 11,529 people or $46.50 per donation. He hasn't caught up to her donation total but he is doing well. Over half the names of people donating to him are female.
The GFM phenomenon is benign, but also telling of the public mood and discourse. Frankly Ford did not do as well as she should have.
