Exactly. There’s no way she was forced into that. She was the instigator of the whole thing, and it was a supremely nasty scheme. That doesn’t rule out her being mentally ill.
Yep, I think you’re right, which is one of several reasons why the gentle approach and treatment the Republican Senators showed her was so necessary.
Sometimes you have to fight and sometimes you have to not fight and let the other person take themselves out, which is what they did and is what we saw.
There was no beating her up, no matter what she said. That comes now, in the articles and editorials and in the courts of public opinion where it’s no holds barred.
