Trump seems to be the only republican that doesn't go on the defensive, and let the media control the narrative using the same old tricks they've used for years. You would think republicans would have some ability to recognize what the left is doing and adapt to how they handle it, but most obviously haven't.

We need better republicans who can effectively lead the party after Trump’s gone, because most of what we have now aren't capable of doing that. We could lose in 2024 going from Trump back to the uncharismatic establishment candidates in a similar way to how democrats lost going from Obama to Hillary.

One of Trump's best attributes is that he has what most see as common sense, but it's a rare attribute in most of our politicians. I don't think they actually lack common sense, but they have to ignore it to follow the orders of their donors. Hopefully we will have better candidates on the scene by the time Trump is leaving office.

Yes, our President isn’t defensive. Neither was Senator Jesse Helms.

If you told me 8 years ago that the next Republican President would be a conservative from NYC, I wouldn’t have believed you. Trump lived and earned his living in one of the global centers of the left; he knows the weak underside of these people, and he knows how dirty they play. He fears them not, and deals with them accordingly using his life’s experiences with the left. He has the stick now.
