Yeah, dumb gambit, because if Brett bowed out, he’d pretty much be ruined career wise and his personal reputation would be done as well. There’s no reason logically for him to do so unless he was really this man who was apart of rape gangs and so forth. The thing is, the Democrats don’t care if Ford is ruined by this. I didn’t understand why the FBI hadn’t spoken to Ford.
Reason is they will have to read her her rights before they speak to her. She’s the target of an investigation for perjury. They might just show up and arrest her.
Her lawyers are facing subornation of perjury charges. Also a federal felony.
Ford might flip and start naming names of higher ups that funded all this.
