If they had only treated him the the way the GOPe treats Dim nominees they could have possibly used some of this crapola to persuade him to “grow” once he was on the court. By doing what they’ve done, they will have a mortal enemy on the court, and I laugh.

There is nothing other than Senate rules that push these nominations through a committee hearing process.
The Constitution only requires the advice and consent of the Senate.
Mitch can bring Kavanaugh to the full Senate at his whim. Up or down vote. AS IT SHOULD BE.

What is the point of being a good person. Looks like lying and cheating is the way to go now especially if there are never any consequences for it. You have to be a good person because it is the right thing to do, and you don't want a guilty conscience keeping you awake at night.
