I have one thing to say to Flake and that argument, Justice Abe Fortas. Anyone of out there remember him, LBJ’s man on the court, he had to resign after only 4 years on the court.
Wow! Forgot about Abe Fortas; was he the only SCOTUS justice ever to resign? Quite a quid pro quo between him and Landslide Lyndon going clear back to 1948. Some might even call it corruption.
Anyway, Flake’s smarmy attitude has reached seppuku level. In fact, Flake committing ritual suicide under the Capitol dome would be fun to watch.
