The thing is after the mid-terms the Republican senate will have more conservative minded senators and Collins and the Kowski’s power to enforce their will for their votes will be destroyed. Plus McConnell if he had a set would tell her, you screw us over on this vote and and don’t look for any help $$$ wise from the Republican senate campaign fund or the RNC. We may primary you, we may have Trump come in and campaign for your primary opponent. Then ask them do you think the Democrats are going to support a Republican? You are on your own if you screw us over on this vote. McConnell has some power over these two goons if he is willing to use it.

I’m sure whatever power McConnell has, (and apparently,it’s considerable) he will use to get the confirmation approved. Only FLAKE is the obvious NO vote. He’s been making excuses and helping democrats move the goal posts, all along. There’s not a whole lot McConnell can hold over HIS head, since he’s leaving. (Unless Mitch intends to support his preferred presidential race pick...and I don’t think that’s going to happen).
