It was a surreal moment in the middle of a surreal news cycle. Pennsylvania Gov. Tom Wolf (D) and his Republican challenger, Scott Wagner, sat on stage, their faces frozen and their hands clasped. And Alex Trebek, the “Jeopardy!” host and the moderator of Monday night’s debate, let loose, joking that the only thing with a lower approval rating than the Pennsylvania legislature was the Catholic Church.
Polite laughter from the audience quickly turned to boos. Trebek, dressed in a purple flowered tie with a matching pocket square, looked out at the crowd watching the two candidates face off at an upscale hotel in Hershey, Pa.

I’m sure that joke went over like gangbusters with his Liberal Elitist Hollywood friends.
I was a Jeopardy champ in ‘93, and I’ll say Trebek seems decent enough in person. But you don’t get to talk to him much, so it’s hard to have an informed opinion.
He’s a real pro, though.
Why blame Trebeck? Who in their right mind would ask a game show host to moderate a debate? Was Wink Martindale not available? How about Monty Hall?
Throw Donald Trump into the mix and that's about all comedians joke about.
If I heard correctly, PA-12, Rothfus, the RNC has yanked funds for him. Not sure if that is because he is safe or what.

I’ve seen exactly one ad for Barletta, pointing out what a useless seat warmer our village idiot Casey Jr. really is . . . It is an effective ad, but we need a lot more of them on different themes.
Moderators need to just ask the questions and other STFU. They always say something stupid or try to manipulate the debate.
Barletta is running a Hillary campaign. Don’t be seen, don’t be heard but keep asking for donations.

PA will support TRUMP in 2020, but don’t expect any Senate or Governor wins here this year... and honestly expect a few house seat losses as well....

I love Lou, but I think they know he doesn’t have much of a chance, especially this cycle. I think they’re saving $$ and throwing in the towel early-—Shame really, cause Lou would be 1000% better than Casey

The Governor candidate is a dud... Barletta seems okay when you see him, but you never see him...
Casey and Wolf are Safe, and with redistricting, expect a few Dems seat gains as well...
PA is a wasteland for republicans this term... Told folks PA-18 and OH-12 weren’t flukes, but a direct indictment of the electoral incompetence of the GOP....
Thank God for the Kavanaugh fiasco, because without it, the GOP was losing 10 ore more seats just in the upper midwest alone.
The successful Democrat move to redistrict Republicans out through the courts has gutted morale.
