The reason seems obvious: it wasn’t an assault. Not by the legal standard of the day nor in her own mind. Even if you accept that it happened just as she testified, it’s a couple of kids and a failed make-out session. If you could honestly poll men from that era about similar “attempted seductions” the number who would honestly admit they’d pressed their luck a bit too far would no doubt be over half. What started with “no means No!” has now turned into making a touch on the shoulder a sex crime.
It isn’t and it wasn’t then, and Blasey knows damn well it wasn’t. She’s just concocted this “recovered memory” to rationalize something in her own psyche. And my bet its Kavanaugh was selected to play the villain because she had a teenage crush on him. Put that question in her next polygraph.

you know why this never happened is because it would have been impossible for Blasey to have disappeared from the house to never return without her best 15 year old friend Leland Keyser without Keyser remembering that party,,
you don’t have a 15 year old friend (the only other girl there)vanish from a party of 5 people and not start to panic after a short amount of time when you can’t find her.. eventually Keyser would have looked and had others look for her in every room and around the yard and neighborhood for her vanished best friend,, at the end the cops and parents would have been called
now how in the hell is it possible for Keyser not remember that night?,, her best friend disappeared and left her all alone in a house with 4 drunk senior boys and two of them were rapists according to Blasey..
but see that’s the ONLY way Blasey’s story can work to get Kananaugh,, it has to work that way,, nobody on the planet can have a memory of that night but Blasey,, that’s why the story blots out how she got there and how she left.. too many more witnesses would have to put into the fantasy and they too of course in real life would deny any knowledge of that night
if Blasey’s story is to believed then her best friend that night would have had at least as much of a frightful night as Blasey herself,, and since Leland Keyser swears on the penalty of going to federal prison that she has no memory of EVER being at a party with Kavanaugh and or Blasey that night either before during or afterwards it’s Blasey’s story that falls into the abyss of tortured logic
I am wondering if there’s any truth to the notion that Ford and Kavanaugh ever met during high school. He has denied knowing her, right? Leland says she did not know Kavanaugh.
I wonder if Ford had seen or known of Kav, but he did not know of her. They went to different high schools. Perhaps she wanted to know him or be introduced.
I realize I am speculating, but for me there’s something very similar between Christine Ford and Jackie Coakley of Rolling Stone/UVa gang rape hoax fame. Jackie made up her entire story, too, every little detail. She made up Haven Monaghan, and used the photo of a boy from her high school (who coincidentally had never met Jackie) to show friends and to get one boy, that she had a crush on, jealous.
The difference here is that Ford has made up this story, and used things that were known, like wild parties described in a pseudo-memoir by Mark Judge. The reason Ford can “remember” certain details and not others, is that this incident never happened. Never. So she has pieced together things she may have known.
The whole thing stinks to high heaven. Ford should be charged with perjury and slander (or is it libel, or both?)
