I think Chrissy was relying on the fact that, in the past, republicans were notorious for hearing a rumor that a fellow republican committed a sin...any sin...and they would drop all support and belief in that person.

Well, with the introduction of one Donald J Trump, republicans are a little stronger and suspicious of that kind of ploy. In the past, Brett Kavanaugh would have been deserted, accused, left on his own and, therefore, gone, out of the picture.

I witnessed that so often that it made me sick. There was no: let’s investigate, let’s see if the charges are real.

NOOOOO, let’s shun the person.

That’s the way it WAS. And THAT is what the Fords and the Ramirizes and others were counting on.

It’s a new day...and the old democrap tricks don’t work any more.

Praise the Lord.
