Good analysis. However, I would think she could afford a good pair of glasses with progressive lens.

I presume so. However, it maybe she’s like me in that regard - I don’t wish to train my eyes to look through one part of my glasses to see distance and another part to read, so I willingly swap glasses to do that.

I was an IT guy and got tired of forgetting my reading glasses all the time when I went to offices to troubleshoot computer problems. I decided to check into glasses with progressive lens. If I was a cube worker, I probably could have gone the swap route for several more years.
