Until Judge Kavanaugh is confirmed, there are plenty of nonpolitical things to do for me and mine.
Exonerated are not, Rachel Mitchell did a terrible job in questioning Christine Ford.
There were numerous times she could have zeroed in on inconsistencies or oddities in Ford’s testimony.
For instance, she could have challenged Ford on her ability to remember that she only had 1 beer, but not who took her home.
In other words, she could have highlighted the questionable responses from Ford in such a way that the audience at home could recognize them.
“Rachel Mitchell sums up her report on Page 2, in saying “I do not think that a reasonable prosecutor would bring this case based on the evidence before the committee. Nor do I believe that this evidence is sufficient to satisfy the preponderance-of-the-evidence standard.”
Neither on a criminal or civil standard is the evidence sufficient. That’s gotta hurt Dims.

She says the case doesn’t even satisfy the ‘preponderance of evidence’ standard, which is the standard for civil cases, and basically means there is a 50.1% chance of the case being true.
Dems have hammered the Senate Republicans saying this isn’t a criminal case where you need proof beyond a reasonable doubt (often characterized as about 95% certainty). Well, she goes farther and says this isn’t even a he-said, she-said case 50/50 case. She doesn’t believe Ford’s testimony at all.
Devastating to Dems. The liberal media will go nuts trying to discredit this, but it gives Senate Republicans like Flake, Collins, Murkowski a solid reason to support Kavanaugh. Too bad that spineless weasel Flake wouldn’t wait until the report came out before calling for an FBI investigation.
Clearly Mitchell didn’t believe a thing Ford was saying. I could not agree more. I said from the date of the hearing, she’s a liar and a really bad actress. From my perspective her performance was 3rd rate and filled with numerous inconsistencies.
My eyes hurt from straining to read the report, but I got enough to feel very confident about it .. maybe get my first good night’s sleep in a week or so!

I saw a tweet Sat. but there was no news outlet attached to the tweet so I kinda filed it as still rumor.
Now if this is the really real deal report, I think I might just have a thimble of scotch with my tea and celebrate. With absentee and mail-in ballots going out, this is very very good news.
