As I've pointed out on other threads, Ford had to repeatedly check her documents and confer with her lawyers in order to be able to answer most of the questions from Rachel Mitchell. Even questions relating to just two months ago. She was always looking down, bobbing and weaving, and avoiding answering right away. Kavanaugh on the other hand rarely if ever had to refer to any documents, didn't need legal representation during the hearing, and answered every question quickly while looking directly in the questioner's eyes. And of course the Dems were very angry that the Judge challenged them, which he had the right to do. These two people's testimonies were as different as night and day.
That was one of the main things that I noticed...he didn’t need to consult any notes or ask anyone how he should answer the questions put to him.
She was stalling for time, conferring with her attorneys, asking for clarification...if this event was “seared into her hippocampus” or whatever she claimed, WHY couldn’t she answer basic questions about it without help? And how do you not remember the details of a polygraph you had less than two months ago?
