Courts cannot be allowed to interfere in the operations of Congress.

The Senator is blowing smoke. It’s a great bluff. It’s still all about buying time. It’d be thrown out... it’s just about buying time...every bit of this...

I am pretty sure McConnell could tell the court and Merkley to pound sand.

He has already been voted out of committee. Game over for that part.

I agree. But how long will it take to throw it out? We’re getting close to the election.

Dead On Arrival- This is going to get laughed out of court. It’s a publicity stunt for his left wing constituents to let them know that he is really really working to derail this.

Old news, this bat shit crazy lefty filed on Wednesday, before the last hearing.
But that may not make a difference to the bat shit crazy Hawaii judge.

Hi, Ravi - Do you know Cubs Fan on a personal basis? I cannot see why you would ask him/her to run away... given all the theatrics playing out in the courts and the weak RINOs, Cubs Fan asked a legitimate question. I mean, really. Did you in this lifetime ever think you’d be hearing or watching a Supreme Court nominee have to explain a term for ‘farting,’ of all things? I’m sure millions of us never thought we’d see such a mess.

The courts can do whatever they like. They’re corrupt to the core and the rule of law no longer exists. The senate could ignore an injunction but the President cannot because his party would impeach him if he did...
What a country eh?

“No, the Courts cannot tell the Senate what to do.”
They’ve been telling the President what he can or can’t do for the past 2 years

Separation of Powers 101. The courts can no more stop or delay a vote in the Senate than the Senate can order a court to rule a certain way.
I'm sure Mitch McConnell would love to demonstrate that by ignoring the court order and going about Senate Business as usual....

I am only worried that this could delay the confirmation. if it doesn't, than I would be more than happy to find out I got worried over nothing. I am utterly disgusted and tired of the dems dirty tricks getting rewarded.

Completely, absolutely not possible. These politicians say things like that to gain attention by stirring up controversy. It also is virtue signaling by the twerp.
The Senate would quickly remove the judge from his seat if he dared try it.

I hope you're right, i really do, but that would require the turtle to have some spine, and he's not exactly been known for that. Also flake and the other liberal repubs may bolt again. I want you to be right, but sadly, I'm just not sure.

I dont think a judge can tell The Senate what it can or cant do.... but of course who knows...if this judge approves it may end up on the 9th circus and go to the Supreme Court....a 4-4 tie would mean the 9th circus will be the ruleI think the SCOTUS would slap this down, I don't know though, but we are running out of time. less than 40 days till the midterms.

A court has absolutely no jurisdiction to tell the Senate when it can and cannot hold a vote on anything. The Senate could simply ignore any ruling - and any judge that would issue such a ruling should be impeached.
And a Senator who files this kind of a lawsuit is incompetent to serve.
