I actually think the FBI investigation will be a net plus for Judge Kavanaugh in the end. They’re not going to find anything. They’ll only bolster Kavanaugh’s testimony. And when Democrats resume all their bluster about “impeaching Kavanaugh!” Republicans can say, “For what?” and use the additional FBI investigation they so demanded against them.
When that happens they will quote Biden. FBI conclusions don’t matter, it is the seriousness of the allegations that matter.
The only difference between today and 1991, is that the democrats think they own the FBI.

Good point. An FBI investigation can negate any impeachment drive down the road against Kavanaugh.
