md learners permit requires a a licensed driver in the car i think you can get one at 15 1/2

In most states, permits can be used to drive at night to and from work or school. Today’s Maryland laws show the youngest you can be to get a permit is 15 years and 9 months.
Ford said she didn’t have her license. I can’t find Leland’s birthday to see if she was old enough that summer.

FNC just reported Leland is willing to cooperate with the FBI investigation. So, all three are cooperating. They can’t change their previous statements of denial or they’ll be in trouble.
