The house Wheland posted as Garretts was a two story, not a split level.
Ford does not say it's a split level, she says in her original statement she went "I went up a small stairwell to use the restroom", and in her statement at the hearing, she described it as a "I went up a narrow set of stairs leading from the living room to a second floor to use the bathroom", and in her original letter to Feinstein she says "I was headed for a bathroom up a short stairwell from the living room".
In her statement for the polygraph, and to Feinstein, she describes the stairs as "small", and "short", but in the hearing she described them as "narrow". I believe she changed the description at the request of her lawyers, to explain how she heard them go down the stairs - they became "narrow", and the boys "pin-balled down" them.

Yes, the questions about what she actually heard on the way out of the house are interesting too. Wasnt sure what to make with that line of questioning.
