I met a couple of FReepers years ago, and they showed up with home made bourbon whisky in ball mason jars.
I was impressed
I said where did you make this? “In my kitchen”
I said how did you get that color on it and that burnt barrel flavor?
“Jack Daniels wood chips..you can buy them at Home depot..”
