Really? I also read she was sued for defamation, is that stemming from her accusation against her former employer?

Yes!!
That’s how you smother a rumor!
I’d be very impressed if the Senate Repubs actually were smart enough to do this.

Kav said in his written statement “Sometimes I had too many.” And i thought, after have read an article the other day- ‘oh crap- the left are gonna jump all over that statement, and now you’re gonna see people coming out of the woodwork accusing him of being too drunk to remember that he sexually assaulted them’, and how is he going to defend against that?

There was an article the other day stating that men who drink usually can’t remember details correctly- and again I thought that the left was going to claim he was so drunk, that he simply couldn’t remember, and that there was no way he could defend against it because if he did go to parties, and apparently he did- and apparently he did drink, then the public was going to believe the LIES of the msm that are claiming he mighta got too drunk and went over the line-

The left are masters at exploiting any little weakness or even made up weakness-

Ugggh- this is getting very ugly, very nasty very quickly- The left are destroying a man and his family with unsubstantiated accusations, accusations that can’t really be defended against, because there is no way to prove he didn’t do it- and in the liberal public’s minds, He’s a man, a white male, an admitted drinker, and ‘likely guilty’ because unsubstantiated accusations by ‘poor defenseless females’ are always to be believed over a filthy white male’s claims of innocence in the minds of liberals-

And the sad thing is that EVEN IF Kavanaugh had solid proof that he didn’t do it- like being out of the country during that time period, or working somewhere or something- the left still would have the gullible public believing he was guilty- and they would never admit they were lying, and m ove right on to more outrageous lies-

And people ask me why i can’t stand many liberals- It’s because many are pure evil, and don’t know the meaning of the word SHAME-

“Really?”

Yup, the story is at Dailywire.com

“I also read she was sued for defamation, is that stemming from her accusation against her former employer?”

Could be, but I dunno.

The man apologized after a lawyer friend explained to him the penalties for perjury, I would guess.

Bringing these allegations outside the legal system was the point! Ford and the DNC don’t want this story of purported sexual assault anywhere near a courtroom. By doing it via the judicial nomination process they destroy the person they have accused and at the same time are not held legally accountable. Mission accomplished. The Republicans should have immediately shut it down, told Ford to file a complaint with the local police department and held the vote to confirm Kavanaugh. This book review of ‘We Believe The Children, published in the Washington Post in 2015, reminds us of what a rush to judgement looks like. The book is about the McMartin witch hunt in California and another case in Washington State. Child sexual abuse charges that turned out to be the most outrageous instance of false allegations in history. Eventually revealed as un-true or outright lies but not before they destroyed the lives of many people. Let’s not make the same mistake.

DiFi could have attended the closed session or sat in on the second phone interview ... or she could have informed the ecommittee of the letter during the hearing process. She is scum.

This is really the fault of millions of “law and order” voters since the early ‘80s. They’ve demanded convictions without evidence or testimony from more than one person all along for any cases involved anything sexual.

They got in bed with feminists. They’ll lay in it.

Kavanaugh didn’t insist that the phone interview transcripts be released. He was asked if he minded if they were and he said that he did not mind.

I was living in Washington when the Wenatchee case happened...the more outlandish and unbelievable the charges, the more the investigator went after the people. Families were ripped apart, careers were destroyed. It was horrible and the scariest part was the mob mentality of people who started “remembering” things that had NEVER happened!

“...like being out of the country during that time period...”

And what time period might that be? None of these women seem to have any of that pinned down yet.

I don’t know if it was mentioned, but you can read the whole thing at the dailywire.com
the title of the article is -
“Kavanaugh Accuser Sued Former Employer, Used Law Firm Of Other Accuser”
(Daily Wire articles can’t be posted at FR for whatever reason.)
