Actually five today as I included St. Peters Prep in Jersey as NY Metro area. Brooklyn Prep closed in the early 70s. You can likely guess my alma mater from my tag. Over the years I have been back and have been impressed with the young men who attend. Quite likely more lefty than we were but not ones expecting something for nothing and a good percentage still opt to wear their dress blues. Other than my parish and the Catholic school I first started my teaching career in my HS receives the bulk of my charitable contributions. BTW if you are looking for an excellent Cathlic Prep whosepersona is not leftist today, Chaminade in Mineola NY fits that nicely along with its co ed partner Kellenberg.
