You're being deliberately disingenuous. It's not merely a "single issue." Supporting faggots in their perversion is not the same as, say, some obscure liberal "cause." Embracing queers definitely disqualifies you from being conservative. Supporting a woman's choice to murder her unborn child definitely disqualifies you from being conservative.

Supporting labor unions is a liberal cause, but it's not even in the same ballpark as the above.
