And he didn’t drink to excess- why would he? He was too busy getting girls drunk to take advantage of them. Oh wait he did drink to excess but still was clever enough to plot these terrible deeds.

Mark Judge is a writer who admits to having an alcohol problem. IMO they are using his writing to construct this story. He wrote a book called Wasted: Tales of a GenX Drunk.
