I was brought up by an alcoholic man hating mother who was mentally ill and abusive. She bragged “I broke his spirit. It took a lot of effort but I did it.”
My self-esteem has always been abysmally low and my self-confidence, too. I never had a real career or made any above average income despite being born in the US and having intelligence and a college degree (Pol.Sci).
My life has been pretty much of a washout.
When I try to do something I think is right there is always someone to knock me down or put me down.

All this crap is just to keep postponing the vote they know they’ll lose. It’s like an ant running to the end of a burning twig, to postpone destruction a mere moment longer. Maybe if destruction is avoided for one more moment, some miracle might occur, i.e. a better liar might show up.
From where they stand they see nothing left to lose if they lose this one. Certain devastating things are coming down the pike that they can only block with an Obama district judge. As long as SCOTUS is split 4-4, any injunction they can get will likely stand.

My bias and my observations here on FR tells me that FReeper women are smart enough to get a joke like that and keep in the intended perspective.

I was a college boy, but in the end chose to be a carpenter and cabinetmaker in this life.
Never got rich, nor expected to be, but I could work for myself and take pride in what I did at the end of the day.
And that's what most of us are fighting for in here - dignity and liberty in our choices, free of a draconian government and its innumerable grasping tentacles.
I feel confident in saying that the vast majority of us are glad you've joined us, and can eventually feel at home with the rest of us 'deplorable' Patriots.

A sure indication they’re liars is how they’ve hedged themselves against liability for perjury.
Ford’s letter went to a Representative initially, and Ramirez has given testimony only to the press. Neither have submitted written or verbal testimony directly to the Senate, and I expect they never shall.
