DeSantis needs to air commercials talking about demonrats wanting a state income tax and gun confiscation.

Amendment 5 on the Florida ballot would make tax increases dependent on a 2/3 majority of the vote. The demonrats are already airing ads opposing the amendment and Gillum has released a statement opposing it. Wonder why?

Gillum is a big gun-grabbing proponen too.

Politico reported tonight that Tom Steyer is committing $5 million to Gillum's campaign. Reason:

“He’s a really unusual candidate,” Steyer said five days before the primary as he, liberal financier George Soros and other donors pumped $650,000 more into the effort to support Gillum.

Steyer told The New York Times, which first reported the new commitment on Tuesday, that he liked Gillum because he’s “a fierce gun control person, he’s been a climate champion ... He’s called for the impeachment of the president. He’s been willing to talk plainly to Florida voters, and they’ve responded.”

...During the primary, Steyer directly contributed $800,000 to Gillum. Steyer spent an additional $600,000 on a get-out-the-vote field campaign and online advertising for the Democrat, targeting young and minority voters through his NextGen group.

For this round of contributions, Steyer is spending $750,000 more on a field campaign, $800,000 more on mail, about $2.5 million more on digital ads and an additional $1 million for a union-tied group called For Our Future.
