Yep, the donuts are awful and so is the other stuff they sell, except the coffee. When we get an urge for donuts, there is a little place in Joliet called Homecuts that make dunkin donuts taste like cardboard. Homecut’s day old donuts are still great, and if you go there, you can watch the donuts being made by hand thru the big glass wall.
We have one called Country Kitchen——the best donuts EVER——and they are just a couple of hundred yards away from DDs.
