The President has the support of approximately 90% of Republicans. Any Republican who makes nasty comments about President Trump is dooming himself to failure.

I’ve got a local state Senate election where the GOP candidate is sending flyers around touting his ability to reach across the aisle to the Dems. It is complete with photos of Bush and Mrs. Obama hugging each other. Apparently, this is the kind of thing that Republicans think will get them re-elected in a tough year.

He’ll lose by double-digits.

Who needs him?

Since he doesn’t support our President, he has no business being in Congress.

Why bother? A Democrat is more honest.

Another Republican Hussein Head falling on his sword for his god, or hoping to get re-elected by our domestic enemies.

“Coffman’s 2018 Democratic opponent will be Jason Crow, an attorney and Iraq War veteran, who beat Levi Tillemann in the primary by a 66 to 34 margin.
On July 2, 2018, the New York Times ran an article about the fact that a district populated by Somalis, Japanese, Koreans, Latinos, and other minorities has continued to be “a scene of frustration and failure for Democrats, who in a series of expensive elections had been unable to unseat Mike Coffman.” The Times explained that Coffman had “kept winning in part because he has sought to show he embraced the needs of his newer constituents,” and had become “a renegade Republican on immigration issues.””

I’ll be interested to see if he does. Our state senate district has been trending to the left in recent years. I voted for his opponent in the primary, but she wasn’t the perfect candidate either. I suspect the guy who beat her is actually a former Democrat. It seems that is a common problem with Republicans.

The alternative is Levi Tillemann:

“Too many Democrats have become too soft,” Tillemann said in formally announcing his campaign, lambasting President Donald Trump. “They’ve become too gentle. They have forgotten how to fight. And we need to fight.”

In a June interview with The Denver Post, Tillemann said his campaign will focus on smart policies that will improve the lives of Coloradans, whether it’s making sure people can earn a living wage and afford health care, or stopping polluters from “wrecking the planet.”

So Coffman may not be a pure Trump supporter and may have disagreements, he is far better than the alternative.

The CO GOP really has no clue what they are doing.
I suspect they have been infiltrated up to their ears.
Dem-lite only ends one way....one party rule.

Screw Coffman, we’re better in the long run getting the scum out of the party.

Primaries, people... up here we have to wait until 2020 to primary the dishonest fellow who got as far as he did as a Republican, and waited until after this year’s primary to confess to being a Libertarian. We’ll see how that plays out!

Funny, when I made that exact point about other more conservative candidates than Candidate Trump and how he supported universal health care, even posting a video, I was punished with a 7 day ban.

“Coffman, who has previously criticized the Trump administration, is facing a difficult reelection bid in November’s midterms “

Maybe kiss up to the Dems a bit harder.

Seems to be working really well, retard.

So, if his constituents are listening to and agreeing with POTUS, he tunes out the president.
