now we have large chunks of the population who think the laws do not apply to them... and they are correct to break and ignore them.
And President Reagan also warned the air traffic controllers that if they did not return to work, he would fire them.
They did not and he did.
It is ironic that the union PATCO actually endorse him over Carter as did the parent union MEBA (Marine Engineers Beneficial Association).
