Nothing on the Senate agenda was more important. Quick early action would have prevented the current quagmire. Mitch may be a lot of things, but "The Turtle" fits him perfectly. No one would confuse McConnnell with a fast moving "can do", go-getter who is on a roll. Without Metamucil, McConnell wouldn't move at all.
