I don’t think even the Republicans are that stupid.A “recovered memory” of an assault barely dated to within a year - 3½ decades ago - is a travesty . . . compounded when Judge Kavenaugh has an alibi for a lot of the summer - and the “memory” has the complainant wearing a bathing suit under her dress. Kavenaugh’s records also document parties he was scheduled to go to - but none which do not have attendees other than Ford’s “memory” would be consistent with.
That travesty has gone far enough. Mitch McConnell should “put a fork in it” by scheduling an immediate vote on confirmation by the full Senate.
