So, if they are forced out of Schengen, doesn’t that mean that they are no longer part of the EU and no longer have to deal with the pressure put on them by the elite bureaucrats that are destroying the continent and they can reestablish & secure their borders?

It's a passport-free area, but not all of the EU is in it. From wiki -

Twenty-two of the twenty-eight European Union (EU) member states participate in the Schengen Area. Of the six EU members that are not part of the Schengen Area, four – Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, and Romania – are legally obliged to join the area, while the other two – the Republic of Ireland and the United Kingdom – maintain opt-outs.
