Now you run a gauntlet of raw looking Africans hanging out in the doorways, sizing you up for what they think they can get.
Never had any real problems because they took one look at me and knew Le Americain wasn’t gonna roll over. But dapper Homme de France? Easy pickins. Hell, they already took his country from him.
I totally agree! Montparnasse is my favorite place! Always felt safe and nobody bothered us. Won’t go back to anywhere in France. Ever. So sad
Great point! I was there 8 years ago and felt no threat at all. Very sad.
I was there a few years ago. Soldiers with automatic machine guns everywhere in the tourist areas.
