There are three outcomes being pushed by the left here:
1. Kavanaugh does not get confirmed.
2. A new nominee will think twice before accepting. decline.
2. Kavanaugh gets confirmed and spends a good deal of his time bending over backwards to show that he was not as the bimbo portrayed him to be.
He'll get confirmed, McConnell has put his reputation on the line, and nothing new has indicated otherwise.
2. A new nominee will think twice before accepting. decline.
If they have no spine, I don't want them anyway. This is the new nasty age. You have to have a strong will to withstand the flaming arrows of the demonic dems, otherwise we don't need you.
3. Kavanaugh gets confirmed and spends a good deal of his time bending over backwards to show that he was not as the bimbo portrayed him to be.
He's already done that, doesn't have to bend over backwards. "oh because the nasty lying left tried to smear me without cause, I'm gonna appease the nasty lying left." Doesn't sound plausible.
We got a good one in Kavanaugh. He will have been baptized by fire to boot.
ALL THREE, sadly....ALL THREE!
“Kavanaugh gets confirmed and spends a good deal of his time bending over backwards to show that he was not as the bimbo portrayed him to be.”
No doubt Clarence Thomas will have much to discuss with him and will encourage him greatly.

Or (what I'm hoping):
4. Kavanaugh gets confirmed, is so angry he can bite nails at democrats and the left, and spends the next 30 years siding with the conservatives on every single case that comes before him as payback.
There is a possible fourth outcome. Kavanaugh becomes the 9th CS Justice and is consistent in his rulings - the Constitution comes first.
