Grassley is letting the Dems jerk us around. I know why. Jeff Flake is a member of the committee and he is the one calling the shots along with Collins, Corker, and Murkowsky. The Reps can only afford to lose one senator.

The Ford story allows now the Red State Dems up for reelection to vote against Kavanaugh citing their defense of women.

There is no doubt that it was planned a long time ago. The timing makes that clear, i.e., after the end of the formal hearings. It is all part of the contrived #MeToo movement, which in my opinion, was directed ultimately at Trump. It will reach a crescendo in 2020.
