So now we are supposed to believe that Ms. Ford went to a party with her girlfriend, and met up with a few guys. Then, later that night Ms. Ford rushed out of the party and went home, upset and traumatized, feeling that she just narrowly escaped rape and maybe even death. And her girlfriend, who she apparently left behind, had no reason to remember anything unusual.

That's just a ridiculous story. Who wouldn't remember a party where you went with one of your close friends and they left without you? And if they were that upset, and you saw them as they left, you sure would remember it.

And if they left without telling you, wouldn't there be a conversation the next day about what happened? And how would a traumatized 15 year old hide her emotions from her friend?

Ms. Ford's story just isn't credible.

One time something far worse happened to me outside a club in Hollywood where I had been with my female friend. She did not know where I was. When I returned in my car, I was sobbing and we drove home that way. She didn’t ask me what had happened, she was very supportive, and I didn’t tell her for months or years. But while we may not remember the day or month, I bet we both remember that ride home. And I of course remember the incident all too well. And I could tell you where it happened.
