No. They will move on to the next USSC nominee.

That too, except that is a VERY "iffy" proposition; that there would even BE someone put up/the Dems would allow someone else to be nominated. And IF someone is, the FBI would have to do a thorough, in depth vetting, which takes forever.

I stand with what I originally posted.

“”They will move on to the next USSC nominee.””

I’m enough of a sadist to say - let it happen. Trump can continue to name nominees for that position until the cows come home OR until the country sees what absolute pieces of excrement these dems really are. How long would it take them to STOP dragging nominees through the mud, do you think? How long would it take the country’s voters to wise up OR WAKE UP?

Kavanaugh isn’t the only conservative out there so keep going through the list if necessary. The USSC can make do with an empty seat if they have to - may not get anything done but it’s mostly behind the scenes for months without decisions anyway. Everyone fears the dems will take the Senate and the chance to put a conservative on the bench is gone. Hey - there’s always another election - another democrat to do the nominating and two can play the same game.

Everyone on FOX last evening was all for extending more time to the “victim”. Not me. I would have stuck to the deadline. Everyone is so afraid of the “optics”....or just embarrassed to come out and say FIGHT THEM!
