I’m not singling him out. Look at all of them. No one stepping up and saying “I support President Trump’s pick for the Supreme Court, I call for a vote, where I will vote Yes.” Nope, nothing remotely close. Silence. They are waiting for cover, minimizing their risk and exposure. Never Trumpers, or fear, for some, maybe of having their own issues exposed. We still don’t know who got payouts for their predatory behavior. Wouldn’t doubt this gives them pause.

THAT is a great point. I had forgotten about that payoff fund. With all the hacking (Imran Awan) maybe the names are in somebody's possession for blackmail purposes. In the "me too" era that would be instant toxicity (for any non-democrat).
Maybe Sessions is one of them. That would explain a lot!

Nobody can or should step forward yet. Dragging her feet should cause some of the women to step forward and say if she doesn’t step forward they want to give her a graceful way out and call for a vote
