We're spending so much time looking through old yearbooks, we're not even hearing the clock ticking on the wall behind us.
What the Democrats are doing is a very deliberate ploy to run down the clock. Our side doesn't seem to understand this. It doesn't matter what she did in high school. Her whole story is BS anyways and we'll never get to ask her about it. She has no intentions of showing up to any hearing.
The character of the accuser and the character of the accused are both relevant.
Assuming Ms. Ford's totally unsupported allegation were true, then it would establish that at 17, when drunk, Mr. Kavanaugh had very poor judgement. But it says next to nothing about him today, or how he thinks and acts today.
If it were true that one's behavior and thinking patterns as a teenager defined what kind of a person you are today - unchanged - then we have to consider Ms. Ford in the same light. So instead of looking at her as a mature woman who conducts statistical research, we have to look at her as a 15 year old who drinks, parties, and apparently liked to fool around with guys.
That is the part of the logic the liberals want you to ignore. Using their logic, why would we even bother to listen to what a teenager who likes to drink, and party (see the stories about her work as a cocktail waitress in a raucous party bar) has to say?
