Here’s a possibility a lot of people I have talked to believe, but the MSM and even the right are ignoring it. The women and judge Kavanaugh were at that party and pretty drunk. They went upstairs and started fooling around. No-one really remembers exactly what happened, except there was no real sexual contact... Years later, the liberal activist wants to make sure Kavanaugh or any of Trumps picks are not sworn in.. she remembers that drunken party and decides to embellish it a little. She remembers other girls were there, they saw Kavanaugh and her together, so she has cover. But no-one saw what happened in the room... He can’t admit he fooled around with her. If he places himself in the room with her, the majority of people in this age of #meetoo, will believe he assaulted her. No-one will challenge her “embellishment”. So we may end up not sitting a brilliant judge and a very decent man, because he got drunk at a party when he was 17 and fooled around with the wrong girl.
If what you posit is the case, Kavanaugh has perjured himself, and disqualified himself from the bench anyway.
I think something did happen, and that Kavanaugh knows about it, but was not directly involved.
IMO, The Ford story is made up - never happened.
