There most likely exists written protocols as to the design and order of a Senate hearing for invited guests. If she refuses to agree to the format then she and her ilk can go pound sand. Who goes to a court hearing and demands to have the format tailored to their own demands. Grassley should point this out.
Grassley should say simply that all of this is a mockery of Senate rules and will no longer be tolerated, adding that the committee vote is scheduled for Monday morning at 10, and the matter goes before the full Senate on Thursday at 10 a.m.
