UPDATE: Approximately 90 minutes after the expiration of the 10:00 p.m. deadline, Chairman Grassley took to Twitter, where he made clear that, despite his repeated extensions, he is offering yet another extension to Christine Blasey Ford’s legal team, presumably until Saturday, for her to decide whether to testify, in line with attorney Deborah Katz’s demands:

Me too, since it still wouldn’t mean the vote can’t proceed Monday, and it is evidence against lib claims she’s not being treated fairly. Giving them Sat and Sun is meaningless as far as we are concerned.

No matter, the media coverage is so intense, the Father has withdrawn from the election, which was a toss up.
In Arizona, U.S. Rep. Paul Gosar is under assault from some of his own brothers and sisters who cut a TV ad claiming their brother was racist (because he wants The Wall) and in the pocket of large corporations (because he favors the roll back of Global Warming regulations).
Trump also helped out big time this morning by “postponing” the release of the FISA documents.
