When he was first elected in 1980 with Reagan, conservatives had such high expectations from him, as they did with Orrin Grant Hatch in 1976. Neither have delivered that much over so many years now.

Hmm. That could be. If so, though, breaking news in a tweet shouldn’t be the job of “staff” (particularly since they sound like they’re sixteen).

Odd set of tweets and no new deadline. Maybe on drugs, drunk, or something. Anyway, the official schedule shows votes on Monday. If Ford doesn’t take advantage of the extra time, Grassley can say he went the extra mile to give her every chance to tell her story. She loses after 5-6 opportunities to come forward.
Oops. I meant to say that .... I do not think that FORD THOUGHT THAT SHE would ever have to be under oath.

These clowns are doing more harm by acting like a bunch of puppets on a string than by telling the leftist a-hole to take her accusations and stuff it - then having a vote.
If the squishy Republicans like Flake decide they haven’t had enough attention and vote “no,” then so be it. That’s STILL better than acting like a room full of pussies in the face of an accusation from a known liberal “resistor” with absolutely NO proof of anything she says. This is the very definition of “circus” and Grassley is 100% responsible for allowing this garbage to continue.
